By fully aware of the elastics characteristic of metal, DC E1000 has enchased a solid metal bar with anode brushing treatment on the front of the camera, along with matted black finishing case to boost up the overall taste.
DC E1000 features a large 3" LTPS screen and 10 mega pixels resolution with 3x optical zoom.
Shake Free hotkey and Super Shake Free function
 You will no longer be troubled by those blurred photo caused by unexpected hand shaking or by the dark environment. The Shake-Free hotkey located right next to the shutter button can activate the S.S.F function under any scene mode.Whenever you feel unsatisfy with the blurry image that you have encounter to, just press the button and try again. It will boosts up the Shake-Free result and reward you with sharp and clear images.
Powerful Face Tracking function
BenQ new E1000 can detect and track human faces up to 9 faces and is able to focus the faces to ensure the people are perfectly presented in terms of color and clearness in the photos.
12 Burst capture in 1 second
There are lots of moment when you just wish you can capture consecutive pictures that you can review later. Say, you would like to know how well is your swing after a very tense golf range practice. Or, you want to take a shoot of one critical moment when the basketball falls into the hoop. BenQ's E1000 comes with this unique function that helps you to capture 12 photos in one second. High ISO portrait support up to 1600
 Supported by a high sensitivity of up to ISO 1600 in shooting mode, the E1000 ensures that your moments are captured bright and natural in dark settings without having to use an artificial flash. So, even if you're out under the stars or dining in a romantically lit bistro, your photos will always turn out picture-perfect!
Opitical zoom during movie recording mode
The optical zoom in movie mode allows you to zoom in and out for a sharp and clear view during the video recording. You can easily switch between shooting mode and recording mode at ease.
P/Av/Tv/M Mode
E1000's P/Av/Tv/M mode gives you quick access to Program, Aperture priority, Shutter priority and Manual function. Taking control over the aperture/shutter enables you to explore your creativity and imagination.
Program Mode
Use the Program mode to control exposure compensation (how much light enters the camera)
The camera automatically sets the shutter speed and aperture based on the scene lighting. Program mode offers the ease of auto shooting with full access to all menu options.

Use Aperture priority mode to control aperture and exposure compensation
The camera automatically sets the shutter speed for proper exposure. Aperture priority mode is primarily used to control depth of field.
Shutter Priority
Use Shutter priority mode to control the shutter speed and exposure compensation
The camera automatically sets the aperture for proper exposure. Shutter priority mode is primarily used to prevent blur when your subject is moving. To prevent camera shake, use a tripod for slow shutter speeds.
Manual
Use the Manual mode for the highest level of creative control
You are free to set the aperture and shutter speed accroding to the scence, and the exposure compensation changes as a result of those settings.
